KISHTWAR, MAY 30: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan today assessed the achievement under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) besides the establishment and functioning of Kissan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) here at a meeting.
Chief Agriculture Officer Kushal Chandel, who also serves as Nodal Officer HADP, provided a detailed update, highlighting that 29 projects under HADP are being implemented across various sectors in the district.
Regarding Kissan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs), it was informed that out of total 65 sanctioned KKGs, 31 have been established, including 6 in the first phase and 25 in this month, while the remaining are at various stages of completion.
To address the issue of low joining among selected KKG Krishi Udyams, the DC instructed the CAO to invite fresh applications.
The meeting also reviewed the implementation of schemes in Horticulture, Fisheries, Sheep Husbandry and Animal Husbandry sectors.
The meeting was attended by CPO Shahnawaz Bali; Tehsildar HQ Sunali Rani besides officers and officials of Agriculture and allied sectors.
