FIL Industries Wins Best Governance Award at Moneycontrol Indian Family Business Awards 2023

Srinagar, December 03, 2024: FIL Industries Private Limited, was honoured with the Best Governance in the Super Category award at the Indian Family Business Awards 2023, presented by Moneycontrol in collaboration with Waterfield Advisors, and PwC India as the process partner.

 

The Indian Family Business Awards evening were graced by the presence of Dr. Jitendra Singh [Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology; Earth Sciences and Minister of State for PMO, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions], Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa, India, and Harivansh Narayan Singh, Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha, as the event’s Chief Guests.

 

At the grand felicitation ceremony held on Tuesday, 3rd December 2024, at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, the accolade was received on behalf of the company by S.M. Tariq Bukhari, Managing Director – FIL Industries Private Limited.

 

Sharing his thoughts on this remarkable achievement, S.M. Tariq Bukhari said, “I am delighted and privileged to receive this prestigious award on behalf of our business. FIL was founded in 1989 by the late Syed Mohammad Iqbal Bukhari, to provide global products to the agriculture industry in India. Under the leadership of its second and third generations, the company has grown into a dynamic, diversified business, seamlessly linking every step from the source of the product to the final customer.

 

Today, FIL stands as a comprehensive end-to-end solution provider in the agri-consumer value chain, proudly established as India’s largest apple integrator featuring a stone fruit nursery, India’s first apple cluster project, a wide range of agri-input products, state-of-the-art post-harvest services, and FMCG products including apple juice concentrate in collaboration with leading international names.

 

FIL is also the nation’s leading CEN-certified ropeway operator establishing itself as a benchmark for sustainable mobility and tourism infrastructure. Its pilot aerial ropeway mobility project Skyview by Empyrean at Patnitop, Jammu & Kashmir is one of the finest amalgamation of world-class collaborations, sustainability, hospitality, and technological possibilities. Additionally, it has also acquired the two landmark aerial ropeway projects: the Dehradun-Mussoorie ropeway, set to be one of the world’s longest, and the scenic Yamunotri-Kharsali route in Uttarakhand.
