Top JeM Commander Among 3 Terrorists Killed in Kishtwar Gunfight

Jammu, February 22: A top commander of Jaish-e-Mohammad oufit along two other terrorists were killed on Sunday in Chatroo area of Kishtwar district.

Official sources said that during a fierce gunfight with joint team of police, 2 Para and army, three terrorists including a top JeM commander were killed.

One of them has been identified as Saifulla, described as a top JeM commander who had previously managed to evade security forces on multiple occasions.

Earlier, Taking on micro-blogging platform X, the army’s WhiteKnight Corps wrote, “Troops of WhiteKnightCorps,  alongwith @JmuKmrPolice and CRPF, in a joint operation, established contact with terrorists in the general area of Passerkut, Kishtwar. Firefight is on. Troops have cordoned off the area. Operation continues, reads the post.
