A Blow to Terror

By Ajaz Rashid

The latest crackdown on a transnational terror module linked with Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) is more than just another successful police operation. It is a resounding affirmation that the Indian state is neither asleep nor intimidated. With eight arrests including three doctors who shockingly betrayed their professional oath, the operation has struck at the heart of a white-collar terror ecosystem that extremists believed was invisible.

What stands out here is the precision and coordination displayed by police teams from Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Their joint effort prevented what officials confirm could have been a major terror strike, possibly involving high-grade explosives, assault rifles, grenades, and detonators recovered during the raids. At a time when terror outfits are desperately trying to reshape themselves through covert financial channels, educated facilitators, and cross-border handlers, this operation is a firm reminder that India’s security grid is several steps ahead.

The involvement of doctors is a brutal betrayal not just of the nation but of the very society that trusted them. Their alleged willingness to serve as conduits for terror logistics exposes the depths to which radical networks can infiltrate. It also highlights why India’s fight against terrorism must remain uncompromising, relentless, and backed by both public resolve and state power.

What we are witnessing is a strategic shift that targets the support structure keeping terror alive. Terrorists with guns are only the final link in a long chain of financiers, recruiters, professionals, tech handlers, and transporters. By choking the backend, the state is cutting off oxygen to the ecosystem that has caused decades of bloodshed in Kashmir and beyond.
The arrests send a powerful message to terrorists, their sympathisers, and their foreign sponsors that the era of operating from the shadows is over. India is not just reacting anymore; it is anticipating, striking, and dismantling.

A Blow to Terror
In a region where every prevented attack is a life saved, this success is not just a police achievement but a victory for every citizen who wants peace, stability, and development to take root. The nation stands stronger today because those who sought to weaken it from within have been unmasked and stopped.

Terror has no future in a country that refuses to bend, and this operation is proof of that resolve.
