LG Manoj Sinha Inspects Yatri Niwas, Reviews Amarnath Yatra Preparations at Baltal

Ganderbal, June 11: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday conducted an on-site inspection of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board’s Disaster Management and Yatri Niwas Complex at Baltal in Ganderbal district, ahead of the annual pilgrimage.

The Lieutenant Governor reviewed the ongoing infrastructure development works and emphasized the need for timely completion to ensure improved facilities and a smooth experience for the pilgrims participating in the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.

During his visit to Domail, LG Sinha also interacted with members of the task force and personnel from the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), who are engaged in maintenance and enhancement of the Yatra track.

The inspection was part of the administration’s broader efforts to strengthen logistics, safety, and infrastructure support along the pilgrimage route.

The Lieutenant Governor was accompanied by key officials, including SJM Gillani, Managing Director, J&K Police Housing Corporation; Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the LG and CEO of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board; Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir; V.K. Birdi, IGP Kashmir; Jatin Kishore, Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal; and other senior officers.
