Lt Governor Manoj Sinha Flags Off Tiranga Yatra at Dal Lake

Srinagar, Aug 12: A sea of Tricolours swept the Dal Lake on Tuesday as Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off the Tiranga Yatra, drawing thousands of participants in a spirited celebration of national unity and pride.

The Yatra, held under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaigns, honoured the national flag as a symbol of shared identity. Participants paid glowing tributes to freedom fighters and martyrs from the Army, CAPFs and Police, whose sacrifices, the Lt Governor said, “keep the Tricolour flying high in its full glory.”
